4U - ukulele songs
4U is a musical project, the centre point of which is the ukulele and is aimed at everyone who loves music. 12 songs will be recorded in analogue and your contributions will be used to pay for the recording studio, manufacturing the vinyl and the CD.

How did begin?
I was going to Malaga for the New Year and needed a small musical instrument to take with me. So I bought a ukulele, only later discovering the beauty of its sound. I took a photo on the beach with four random passers-by. Random?
And my friend said to me: “That photo deserves a CD.”
What is the aim?
The aim of the project is music and also a reminder that it is important not only to dream, but also to materialise your dreams and breathe life into them. That it is important to follow the signs on the journey. That the journey is the aim.
Details
The songs will be recorded in analogue at Ivo Viktorín’s Studio “V” in Zlín. They will be issued on both vinyl and CD. Excellent Czech and Slovak musicians will be involved in the recording (Michal Nosek, Martin Bakyta, Filip Kaňkovský, Ivo Viktorín, etc…). Recording will take place between 11 and 25 August 2019.
Ideally the recording will be issued in October 2019, distributed by Indies Scope Records and will continue to live on concert stages.
Who am I?
My name is Petr Filák, and I compose music for the stage. I am a guitar player, a barista, a culinarian, and also play the Arabian lute and the ukulele.
I am an incorrigible dreamer...
What will the money be used for?
To pay for the recording studio, musicians’ fees, travel expenses and accommodation, manufacturing the vinyl, the CD and video clips.
