How has it began?
I can say, I already wanted to shoot movies since elementary school. Since i was a young boy I wanted to have a machine for recording or creating dreams. Later I realized, that such a machine already exists – it is called „camera“. Our earlier intent was to make a short special effects based movie. After first few shots, I got inside me relentless surge of feelings, that this is not enough. When I read the script and started to visualize it, I realised, that we have enough material for the whole feature film.
What’s our goal?
Our main goal is, of course, to have as much viewers as possible – czech and also international. By starting this campaign we want to collect means for successful completion of our goal. Because we are creating this movie by combination of actors played scenes, animated scenes and pixilation, by using traditional frame by frame technique and using stop-motion, which all are very time demanding and technologically more difficult. This all means there are higher requirements for our crew members and actors, but also higher financial requirements.
Your help will allow us to:

- Create all necessary decorations and scenes in our studio / atelier
- Create original stage properties
- Acquire missing equipement
- Rental of shooting locations
- Necessary transport
- Post-production
- Cover Actors’ salaries
- Create original soundtrack
- Make promotion and advertisement
- Take part in international festivals
- Cattering, because, everyone knows, hungry crew and actors are very dangerous… :-)
After the premiere, which will take place together with an exhibition of stage properties and all interesting things from the shooting, where we will invite all donators and all participants, the movie will head to Czech and internation film festivals and also to art and club cinemas. We are going to negotiate with some czech and international TV companies. On this movie keeps an eye also one USA organisation engaged in study of dreams and lucid dreaming.
Details
My second movie starts with a sad stare of a young boy, who sees an argument of his parents. Boy, who lives in an unpleasant surrounding from where here runs away to the fantastical world of dreams. In the succesions of dream pictures he meets series of bizzare characters and he experiences many peculiar stories.

There are several child characters in the movie, we will see also excellent actor and architect David Vávra, and we also negotiate with other actors. About making music we negotiatie with Professor Vladimír Franc. Technical things are consulted with MgA. Ondřej Javora a with David Daenemarke from FAMU University from Department of Animation. Technical things about camerawork and post-production techniques we consult with renowned specialist Mgr. Petr Zapletal. Some scenes are shot in real-world settings but more scenes will be shot in the created scenes in our atelier. For the movies I personally create a lot of stage properties, which I approach not only like ordinary stage properties, but I approach them like real, dream-like things, which are wittnesses of the different layers of human life. In the movie will also „act“ some of collages and paintings from my own production. The camera will be operated by photographer Petr Kopřiva.
Who am I?

He was born 21. 8. 1974 in Moravská Třebová. He has never studied any art school, he was apprenticed in no longer existing craft of a mother-of-pearl processing, which means, he is „pure-blood“ autodidakt. His creative range is quite broad, from paintings-objects, collages, assamblages to writings and photography and film. He is known for his unconvential and often peculiar technological processes of creating. For his works he takes inspiration in dreams, subconcious, pure imagination or, as he says, in simply witnessing the stories of the world. By this he defy commercial and common styles and as he says, creating means primarily freedom and because of that it is needed to stand a side of the main stream, which dictates the trends.
Why do I do it?
Dreams and dreaming have irreplaceable meaning. I have very strong bond to dreams since childhood and for many years I write down my dreams. This movie has grown for a long time and it ripened in today’s too much „synthetised“ and „overtechnologized“ age. My goal is to create a movie with very powerful dream-like essence, which will wake the viewer into the mysterious freedom and miraculousness of dreams life, which is incomprehensible with the common sense. And also to show the touch of dreadful, but still beautiful, awfulness of some dreams. Dreams contain powerful essence of freedom and miraculousity, which are elements, which we can’t let vanish. This movie has one more reason. Reason to loosen the vices of so called “reality” which is mercilessly dictated by our surrounding.
