All or nothing. Project finished on Jan 7, 2019 at 17:05.
The Czech Republic is a beautiful and fascinating country. It would look different without people, without the constant transformation of the land and harvesting of resources. All going on for centuries. The mankind changes the natural land into a cultural one.
There is one way how to look at the process of the change and the current status of people in the land. It will allow us to understand the scale and consequences. From above.
Let us go for a journey to explore the relationship between people and the land from a drone, plane balloon or helicopter. We will follow water from its source all the way to your tap, electricity from steam to your mobile and transport of food, goods and people. But we will not stop there.
All will be packed into a 30 minutes documentary movie looking for unusual and surprising views at the environment we live in.
I am going to make it and you can participate and support it!
Where
We will explore the Brno metropolitan area with the entire South Moravian Region and beyond. The length of the movie does not allow to go much further than that. At least for the time being.
When
The shooting will take place between February and May 2019, the post production and completion planned to June 2019.
How
The documentary is created as part of the bachelor’s final work for Media Studies and Journalism study program at Faculty of social studies of Masaryk University in Brno. Your financial contribution will be therefore rewarded by making the mark both in the movie and academy world. Sweet, isn’t it?
This approach to the movie production has two main advantages. First, the movie will be completed and released in 2019, no doubt about that. Second, you can look forward to an interesting content consulted with professionals as land architects, water management experts, transport engineers, academicians and people understanding the electricity.
The documentary will be available with english subtitles.
The project is of non-profit nature. Your financial contribution I will greatly appreciate will be converted into:
Traveling, over 5000 km estimated 15.000,-
Drone with accessories (camera, batteries) 49.000,-
Air hours rental 10.000,-
Post production (digital info, various fees) 11.000,-
Other important technical equipment, e.g. camera, has other fundings. Your contribution will allow to complete the film in the great scope and quality (video 4K source, Full HD output).
The views from above at our land is fascinating. The documentary using the bird’s eye view perspective has great potential to understand human behaviour consequences. This documentary movie is a pilot which can help to finance entire documentary series.
In simple terms, I want to see how everything’s arranged here. Will you join?
