What is this project about?

Eigengrau is the name of the upcoming film and music album (soundtrack). Eigengrau is also the color we see in absolute darkness. Light within what appears to us as darkness.

We are not only creating another Postcards From Arkham album, but an extensive project that contains 8 video clips combining elements of both horror and fantasy. including the original soundtrack which combines post rock, film music, ambient music and metal. Everything is connected in the original story

The story is inspired by the work of H. P. Lovecraft, D. Lynch and F. Kafka. In order not to spoil too much and spoil the experience, we will only reveal snippets during the campaign. In addition, you can take part in the story by helping us create movie monsters or perform your own role! One more reason to follow and support us!

Does it sound like one bite off more than they can chew? No band has tried such a big project yet! For us, it is a natural step in our development and the point where our previous projects went. Video references:

Who are we and why support us? 

With Postcards From Arkham, in almost 10 years of the band's existence, we have released 5 albums, 8 music videos, 1 short film and played more than 100 concerts in Europe. All with one goal - to be more than just a band and create something more than just another music album. We headed to the Eigengrau all the time and gathered experiences. Now is the time to use these experiences.

We are preparing a challenging project and therefore we are launching a crowdfunding campaign which aims to support it not only financially, but also through your personal invention. We would like to expand our world and move it forward.
