In the case of rewards, we’ve confirmed the production of the gifts in our “Vision for the World” design (where applicable) and we expect to start the distribution in 3-4 weeks. We’ll inform you about the actual delivery date in a few weeks time. We’re also finalizing the preparation of the manual with everyday eye exercises that helps to keep our eyes healthy. We’ll make sure to focus on the most efficient exercises and some good tips.
We recently received our first batch of production line samples of frames and prescription lenses, and after a few minor modifications, we’ve now green-lighted the full-scale production which should be completed by the end of February. Our founder, Philip Staehelin, will personally deliver them to Chennai in India, where he will visit some local schools and a Health Centre - together with our pilot partner, the India Vision Institute. The plan is to screen about 300 children and 400 adults, which according to our statistics should mean that about 250 DOT Glasses will “stay on noses” of those who need them most.
