Dog bow ties a symbol of support – how did it begin and why?

Have you ever seen a dog with a bow tie? I personally think it's awesome :) The project began simply – I myself designed and started to hand make these dog bow ties, which you can easily put on any collar. By now I have created more than 10 different collections out of over 100 different fabrics in 4 sizes – for small and big breeds of dogs.

And why do I do this? I want to help animals, especially dogs in need. I am trying my best to make the dog bow tie to become a symbol of animal support. Every dog which wears one shows he or she has helped other dogs in need.

Goals of your support towards this crowdfunding project

  • Reach monthly sales minimum of 1000 bow ties which would equal to 50 000 Kč support for dogs in need​
    • money from the crowd funding campaign will be used to buy fabrics and material for production
    • this money will help us to be able to order production of bow ties in multiple protected workshops – part of the production is already outsourced through social communities which help people in need
    • being able to increase the physical stock of the finished products will allow me to address more stores, e-shops and organizations for sales
    • your support of this project will encourage me to put even more energy and attention into growing this business and growing the brand awareness

  • Develop and test a dog bow tie with natural protection against ticks and fleas in corporation with Dokonalá Láska company
    • Dokonalá Láska already has recipes of natural remedies however we must test it when used with the means of the bow tie
    • The bow ties must be made of special materials and your support of this project will help us
    • The dogs will be protected by natural combined essential oils – we don’t want chemical collars and pipets which often irritate dogs and create allergies
    • The bow tie will be usable to infuse with other essences like for example remedies for relaxing, again fear and anxiety or for female dogs in hear

  •  To begin writing of a special cook book for dogs​
    • the increased sales of bow ties will financially help us to start the work on the cook book
    • we want to create a beautiful, modern book with simple recipes for various occasions
    • it will not be an ultimate guide for daily feeding, just a playful inspiration how to prepare something new and tasty for your doggie
    • part of the money from this campaign will be used to pay for a professional consultation with veterinarians
    • we are planning on printing 5000 copies and 10% of the sales will be donated to dogs in need :) 

Who are we?

Mr. Cuddlo (read Kadlo) is my only 4 paws hairy love :) it is a pure mixed breed of a beagle and a dachshund and I cannot imagine my life without him. I wish every dog would be healthy and happy as a part of loving family.

And I am just a girl named Katka who loves dogs and wants to help them. I hope for every dog to be healthy, happy and in a loving family :)

Why do we do present this project on HIT HIT?

We want to share with you our vision and goals :) We believe that together we are stronger and have greater influence on the world around and also because we honestly think that any dog with a bow tie simply looks amazing :)

    Dog bow tie of your own fabric

    Do you have your grandma‘s wedding dress at home? Or you have a shirt you used to wear as a teenager and you don’t have the heart to throw it away?

    I can make a dog bow ties out of any fabric you send me (just make sure it’s clean :). Cotton materials are ideal, however I can try to make it out of anything that you would like. Minimum dimensions of the fabric to be 30 x 15 cm. Write a note about the type of the dog (breed or at least size) and will adjust the size of the bow tie.

    A package of 30 bow ties for sale for a dog shelter

    A shelter or an organization of your choice will receive 30 original bow ties for sale. Most shelters have their own e-shop, organize auctions or go to various events where they sell different products and the profit from the sales goes for the animal care.
     
    The sale price of a dog bow is from CZK 220 / piece. Thank to you they will be able to make at least 6600 CZK.

    Write a note which organization or city where would you like the bow ties to be sent. If you don’t know a particular dog shelter, we will send it to other organizations we already work with, for example  Dachshunds in need JVN. Shipping in included in the price.
